The platform, accounts, and how SkillPak is organised.
Can I use the same account on the website and the mobile app?
Yes. You have one SkillPak account. Sign in with the same email and password, or the same Google account, and your enrollments, lesson progress, and certificates stay the same on both.
Do I need an account to browse courses?
No. You can browse the course catalogue, manuals, products, instructor profiles, and free lecture previews without signing in. You need an account to enroll, take quizzes, and receive a certificate.
How do I sign in to SkillPak?
Use Login on the website, or the sign-in screen in the mobile app. Both accept your email and password, or Continue with Google. Use the same method each time so you always reach the same account.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Tap "Forgot your password?" on the website login page or on the app sign-in screen, then enter your account email and we will send you a reset link. If you created your account with Google, sign in with Google instead of a password.
How do I check that a SkillPak certificate is genuine?
Open the Verify a Certificate page on the website and enter the certificate ID printed on the certificate. Anyone can check a certificate this way, including an employer, and no account is needed.
How do I contact SkillPak for something not answered here?
Use the Contact page on the website. Tell us what you were trying to do, which page or app screen you were on, and the email address on your account, so we can answer on the first reply.

Enrolling, lessons, quizzes, and certificates.
Does my progress carry over between the app and the website?
Yes. Lecture progress, quiz results, and course completion are saved to your account rather than to one device, so you can stop on one and continue on the other.
Where do I find my notes and bookmarks in the mobile app?
Open the More menu and choose My Notes or My Bookmarks. Both are saved to your account, so they stay available after you close the app or change phones.
How do I rate a course I have taken?
Once you are enrolled, open the course and use the rating option, or the Ratings tab in the mobile app. You can leave a star score and an optional written comment for other students.

Access, the app, and common fixes.
Where do I download the SkillPak mobile app?
The SkillPak app is on Google Play. Search for SkillPak, or open play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skillpak.app. Install it and sign in with your existing SkillPak account.
Why does the website ask me to use the app on my Android phone?
The student website is not available on Android browsers, so students are sent to the app download screen instead. Install SkillPak from Google Play and sign in with the same account. Instructors and admins can still use the website on Android.
The app says I must update before I can continue. Why?
App versions below the supported version are blocked, because they no longer work correctly with our servers. Tap the update button to open Google Play, install the latest SkillPak version, then reopen the app and sign in as usual.
I am not receiving notifications in the app.
Allow notifications when the app asks, and check that notifications are switched on for SkillPak in your phone settings. Then open More and choose Notification Diagnostics to confirm your device is registered. Signing out and back in registers the device again.
A lecture video will not play in the app.
Lectures are streamed, so check your internet connection and try again first. If it still fails, close and reopen the app, make sure you are on the latest version from Google Play, and confirm your enrollment has not expired.
How do I delete my SkillPak account?
In the app, open Profile and scroll to Delete account, then enter your password to confirm, or type DELETE if you signed in with Google. On the website, open My Profile and use Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your enrollments, progress, certificates, and messages.
Do I lose my courses if I uninstall the app or change phones?
No. Your enrollments, progress, and certificates belong to your account, not to the handset. Install the app on the new phone, sign in, and everything is there. Uninstalling only clears what the app stored on that device.
No questions match that search.
