Please read these terms carefully before using SkillPak on the web or mobile app.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SkillPak, including our website, mobile application, courses, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you should use the Platform only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@skillpak.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Courses, enrollments, and access
- Enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access course content for learning purposes only.
- Course access may require payment approval by our team. Until payment is approved, access may be limited or pending.
- Subscriptions or renewals may expire; continued access may require renewal according to the course or plan terms shown at enrollment.
- We and our instructors may update, modify, or remove course content at any time.
- You must complete required lectures, quizzes, and ratings (where applicable) to unlock certificates or further lessons, as designed in each course.
5. Payments and refunds
Fees, payment methods, and approval processes are displayed during enrollment. By submitting payment information or a payment request, you agree to pay the stated fees. Refunds, if any, are handled at our discretion and in line with the refund policy communicated at the time of purchase or by support. Unless otherwise stated, access granted after payment approval is generally non-refundable once course materials have been substantially accessed.
6. Certificates
Certificates are issued when you meet the course completion criteria (including lectures, quizzes, and ratings where required). Certificates may be verified publicly through our verification system. Misrepresentation, fraud, or sharing of certificate credentials to imply unearned qualifications may result in revocation and account termination.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or course access with others
- Copy, download, redistribute, or publicly display course content except as expressly allowed
- Record, scrape, or reverse engineer the Platform or its content
- Upload malware, spam, or unlawful material
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or staff (including in chat or support channels)
- Circumvent access controls, payment requirements, or completion rules
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, branding, software, and course materials are owned by SkillPak, instructors, or licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive only a limited license to use content while properly enrolled. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Third-party services and content
The Platform may integrate or embed third-party services (e.g. Google Sign-In, YouTube, Vimeo, payment or hosting providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform and all courses are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee specific educational, career, or financial outcomes. We strive for reliable service but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkillPak and its officers, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant course in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkillPak from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
